We need your help! Some of the benefits of your volunteering are:
• Saves money that we would need to pay outside vendors
• Support families and elderly in the neighborhood
• Offer personal benefits to volunteers including improved wellbeing and decreased stress
• Helps volunteers build valuable experience and skills
• Helps volunteers get to know their neighbor
• Builds a sense of community

QLCA Community volunteer opportunities:
• planting, trimming and mulching
• maintaining the flower beds inside the pool area
• power wash the pool deck
• help clean the pool
• checking on clubhouse after rentals
• helping to make minor repairs on community property
• Collecting plastic for the TREX bench challenge
• helping with field games at QL Day
• Judging desserts for QL day Dessert Competition
• Helping with pool games for QL Day

Committee members began installation of boat racks on the Lake for watercraft. This will allow members to move their canoe, kayak or paddleboard to an elevated rack and OFF the ground, greatly improving the mobility, access and appeal of the access areas! A separate accommodation for larger jon boats is planned for the fall. 

 

 

Our beautiful new pickleball courts are getting lots of action!  Some members meet for informal games on Wednesday and Saturday mornings.
